WHAT IS BARBERMONGER?

BARBERMONGER is a site designed to help roleplayers find other roleplayers, specifically one-on-one roleplayers, as opposed to larger roleplay games. Functioning like a pinboard, BARBERMONGER allows users to create advertisements, bump advertisements, and respond to other advertisements, without requiring them to register an account. However, registering an account will allow you to edit your posts, find your own topics, and use the private messaging system.

Hello! I'm Apple, mid-twenties, and though I've been roleplaying for more than ten years and tried all sorts of genres, I am just coming off a pretty lenghty hiatus with a specific craving: I want to fix Reign.

I know, I know, it's been forever since the show ended, but I was just rewatching the first two seasons and the need to save these poor characters away struck with a vengeance. So, here's the gist of it: I'm looking for someone who would like to play Mary, Queen of Scots, while I play Francis Valois. The idea would be to play the characters as seen on the show and change the plot to our liking, but if you have never watched Reign or didn't particularly like it, we could also draw from actual historical events.
We'd of course be juggling all the secondary characters as well, and potentially adding a bunch of original ones (all genders, all ages).

The RP can focus more on the romance or on the plot and drama (both? Both. Both is good), I have no preferece, but I'd rather keep it clean -- preferably fade to black.
Aside from that, and from requiring a partner that is at least 18+ (nothing personal, I am just an old duck, it makes me more comfortable), I have no limits.

Some other relevant stuff:
- I write in paragraph style, third person, past or present tense.
- Post length varies, but it's usually not below 300 words per character. More than someone who will strictly match my wordcount, though, I am looking for a challenging writing partner that will always give me something to work with.
- I won't be able to reply daily (life is often erratic and writing should never become an obligation), but we can of course keep in touch in between posts and talk about the plot, the characters and whatnot. In fact, we totally should. Plotting is half the fun!

That's all, I think! If you're interested, here's my email: sassenachbwitch@gmail.com
